Providence Bruins News Release

The Providence Bruins and Binghamton Senators wrapped up their two-game season series on Wednesday night in Binghamton, with the Senators taking a hard-fought 5-4 decision. The Bruins are in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with their 20-17-2-6 record.

Bruin left wing Andy Hilbert scored his 22nd goal of the season in the first period of his 200th career game with the club. The shorthanded goal was his third in as many games, and the 86th of the career of the team's all-time leading goal scorer. Hilbert ranks second in overall scoring, with 86-92-178 totals, eight points shy of tying the late Sergei Zholtok for the franchise career scoring mark.

Bruin wingers Brendan Walsh (1), Keith Aucoin (10) and Dan LaCouture (10) also scored for the Black and Gold.

Providence goaltender Cody Rudkowsky stopped 32 of the 37 shots he faced, and is 2-4-2.

The Bruins return home to host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday, January 28 at 7:05 p.m., and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Sunday, January 30 at 4:05 p.m.

Friday's game will be Dunkin' Donuts Mug Night. All fans in attendance will receive a free Providence Bruins mug, courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts. Friday's game will also be televised live on COX Sports Television, with Corey Masse and Boston Bruins legend and Hockey Hall of Fame member Gerry Cheevers calling the action.

Following Sunday's game, Bruin goaltender Hannu Toivonen and defenseman Milan Jurcina will sign autographs free of charge on the Dunkin' Donuts Center concourse behind Section 110.
