TICKETS AVAILABLE NOTES:
- Penguins are 2-0-0-0 against Hershey this season following a 2-1 home win on Oct. 8 and a 4-3 shoot-out victory in Hershey on Oct. 9. - The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a free 3rd logo puck courtesy of Wyoming Valley Health Care System (pucks distributed after the game). - The Penguins will also debut their 2005-06 third jersey at Friday night's game.

NOTES: - The Penguins are 1-0-0-0 against Syracuse this year following last Friday's 4-1 road win.

Friday, Oct. 21, PENGUINS 4 @ Syracuse Crunch 1
Colby Armstrong had two goals, Matt Hussey had three points (1+2) and Erik Christensen picked up one, as the Penguins went on the road to down the Crunch, 4-1. Marc-Andre Fleury allowed just a first period power play tally, and stopped 32 of 33 shots on the night for his third win of the season.
Saturday, Oct. 22, Binghamton Senators 1 @ PENGUINS 5
Michel Ouellet netted two goals and added an assist, Erik Christensen picked up four points (1+3) and Ryan Whitney tallied twice to lead the Penguins to the win against their division rivals from Binghamton. Daniel Carcillo had two assists in the game, which saw Marc-Andre Fleury stop 20 of 21 shots. Attendance for the home contest was 8,250, a sellout.
Sunday, Oct. 23, PENGUINS 8 @ Syracuse Bridgeport Sound Tigers 3
Erik Christensen's second consecutive four-point game (1+3), and second of the year against the Sound Tigers, helped the Penguins to their seventh consecutive win of the season. Michel Ouellet once again picked up two goals and three points, while Danile Carcillo (1+1), Ryan Whitney (0+2), Ryan Stone (0+2), Tomas Surovy (0+2) and Dennis Bonvie (0+2) each chipped in with multi-point games. Dany Sabourin stopped 33 of 36 shots for his third victory of the season.
SEVEN GAME STREAK TIES TEAM MARK
- The Penguins current seven-game winning streak is tied for the best in team history. The only previous time the Penguins won seven consecutive games was from October 21, 2000 through November 4, 2000.
- The Penguins' longest winning streak last season was five games from October 29-November 7.
CHRISTENSEN NAMED CCM VECTOR/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Center Erik Christensen garnered his first AHL Player of the Week honor after posting nine points (3+6) in three games last weekend. Christensen netted one goal in the Penguins' 4-1 win in Syracuse on Friday, then posted back-to-back four-point games (1+3 in each) against Binghamton and Bridgeport. Christensen has three four-point games this year following his four-goal performance on opening night against Brdigeport.
INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE LEADERS (all stats as of 10/26)
- Erik Christensen is tied for the AHL lead with 15 points, is tied for second with seven goals, is tied for fifth with six power-play assists, is tied for sixth with a plus-5 rating and is tied for sixth with eight assists.
- Marc-Andre Fleury is first in the league with a 1.00 goals against average (four goals against/240 minutes played) and is first with a .963 save percentage (four goals against/108 shots). His four wins are tied for second.
- Ryan Whintey is fifth overall with 13 points, tied for second with nine assists, tied for seventh with three power-play goals, tied for first with seven power-play assists, tied for first with two game-winning goals and tied for fourth with a plus-6 rating. Whintey also leads all defensemen with 13 points and is tied for first with nine assists.
- Michel Ouellet is tied for sixth with 12 points, tied for ninth with five goals, tied for eighth with seven assists, tied for seventh with three power-play goals and second with a plus-8 rating.
- Dany Sabourin is ninth overall with a .926 save percentage (eight goals against/108 shots) and is tied for fourth with three wins.
- Daniel Carcillo is tied for third among rookies with eight points and is tied for first with six assists. Carcillo is tied for sixth overall with a plus-5 rating and is tied for 12th overall in assists.
- Ryan Lannon leads the league with a plus-9 rating.
- Dennis Bonvie is tied for ninth with 35 penalty minutes.
- Ryan Stone, Alain Nasreddine, Tomas Surovy, Noah Welch and Matt Hussey are tied for sixth overall with plus-5 ratings.
TEAM LEAGUE LEADERS (all stats as of 10/26)
- Power-Play - the Penguins rank second overall with a 27.9 success rate (12 goals/43 chances) and are second at home at 31.6% (six goals/19 chances).
- Penalty Killing - the Penguins are eighth overall at 86.9% (eight goals against/61 times shorthanded) but second at home at 96.0% (one goal against/25 times shorthanded).
EVEN STRENGTH SUPREMECY
- Matt Koalska's goal at 17:39 of the first period on Sunday was the first even-strength goal the Penguins had allowed since Alan Rourke tallied at five-on-five at 12:23 of the third period on October 5. The Pens went a total of 330:16 without allowing an even-strength tally.
MILESTONES
- Dennis Bonvie appeared in his 700th career American Hockey League contest on Sunday in Bridgeport, marking the occasion with two assists - his first two points since returning to the Penguins via free agency this past summer. - Erik Christensen recorded his first professional shorthanded goal in Sunday's win in Bridgeport.
