Moose to wear special 10th nniversary jersey Thursday vs. Barons

Today, the Manitoba Moose announced they will wear a special 10th anniversary jersey during the game against the Cleveland Barons at the MTS Centre tomorrow, Thursday, October 27th. Thursday night, the Moose will also raise a 10th Anniversary Season banner to the rafters of the MTS Centre.
The Moose will giveaway 28 of the special jerseys with fans at the game against the Barons having the exlusive chance to win 12 of the jerseys. Six will be given away to a lucky member of the crowd during the game, while six will be auctioned off in a silent auction to be held on the main concourse of the MTS Centre during the game against the Barons. The final 16 will be sold on e-bay with some of the proceeds going towards the Moose Yearling Foundation.
Thursday night is the first in those series of nights this season in which the Moose are celebrating 10 memorable years of pro hockey in Manitoba by honoring players from the past and present, three retro jersey nights to be given away to the fans, banner dedications, commemorative giveaways, a pair of turn-back-the-clock nights and much, much more.
For the first time in hockey history, a professional all-star game and skills competition will be held in Winnipeg. Many of the best hockey players in the world have participated in the AHL All-Star Classic. This season, the best the AHL has to offer will be in Winnipeg with the Skills Competition on January 31st followed by the AHL All-Star Game on February 1st at the MTS Centre.
