
Penguins Recall Stevenson from Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have recalled defenseman Dustin Stevenson from loan to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
Stevenson, 24, made his American Hockey League debut earlier this season, appearing in four games for the Penguins and recording two penalty minutes. In 14 games this season with Wheeling, the fourth-year pro has posted five assists and 38 PIM.
Stevenson has totaled three goals, 31 assists and 298 PIM in 214 ECHL contests with South Carolina, Reading and Wheeling. In 2012-13, he took home the Kelly Cup with the Reading Royals after totaling 10 assists and 103 PIM over regular season 65 games.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins take the ice on Friday, Dec. 20 as they battle the Worcester Sharks at 7:05 p.m., at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.
