Parse Returns To Manchester

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have assigned left wing Scott Parse to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Parse, 25, has played in 48 games with the Kings this season - his first in the NHL - and has 21 points (8-1321) and 20 penalty minutes. The 5-foot-11, 197-pound native of Portage, Mich., has also played in 10 games with the Monarchs this season and has 13 points (31013) and six penalty minutes. He leads the Monarchs with a plus/minus rating of plus-11. The Kings selected Parse in the sixth-round (174th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Monarchs finish their seven-game road trip with a match-up with the Springfield Falcons on Friday, February 12 at the MassMutual Center.
