Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins News Release

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Penguins and Tobyhanna Army Depot are teaming up to provide some fun for military families throughout the area via the GO RED FRIDAYS campaign.

The Penguins will be wearing special red sweaters during their remaining Friday games this season (Feb. 12 vs. Binghamton; March 19 vs. Springfield; April 9 vs. Albany), with the words SUPPORT OUR TROOPS replacing WILKES-BARRE SCRANTON on the crest.

These jerseys will then be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the Tickets For Troops program, which provides a night out at a Penguins hockey game for local military members and their families.

Additionally, GO RED FRIDAY tee-shirts are being sold at the Penguins Team Story inside the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. All money raised from tee-shirt sales will also go to the Tickets For Troops program.

Fans are also encouraged to wear red to show their support at Friday games throughout the remainder of the season.

Tickets for all Penguins home games are on sale now, and available through the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza box office, all TicketMaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com and by phone at 800-745-3000.

Ticket packages and group sales for all Penguins home games are available directly through the Penguins ticket office by calling 570-208-7367.
