
P-Bruins, WSKO team up for blood drives

The Providence Bruins announced today that they have teamed up with WSKO AM-790, The Score to host two blood drives with the Rhode Island Blood Center. The first drive will be held on Thursday, February 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the blood donor center next to the Warwick Mall. The second drive will be held on Wednesday, March 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the blood donor center in Providence at 405 Promenade St.
"As always, we are very pleased to work with WSKO to help raise awareness for the importance of blood donation," said Bruins Co-Owner and President Matt Poore. "Our team has the ability to help raise awareness for the Rhode Island Blood Center by providing complimentary tickets to blood donors and helping ensure a successful drive."
Blood donors at each drive will receive a free pair of Providence Bruins game tickets, while supplies last. In addition, donors at each drive can enter to win an autographed Providence Bruins stick. Bruin players will also be on hand for part of each drive to sign autographs.

The Bruins play at home tonight against the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7:05 p.m.
