The Binghamton Senators scored four goals in the first period and three goals in the second period to beat HERSHEY 7-4. Steve Brule scored twice in the second period and Brett Clark and Jeff Finger each scored in the third period to cap the scoring for the BEARS. All-star Eric Perrin had two assists for a multi-point night. Peter Budaj came in at 10:50 of the first period to relieve goalie Tom Lawson. Lawson made 10 saves on 14 shots at the time of exit. Former BEAR Charlie Stephens added a goal and two assists, earning first star of the game in an impressive offensive effort for the Senators. He has 12 points since being traded to Binghamton for Dennis Bonvie.
