P-Bruins Fall To Sharks 2-1

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins fell to the Worcester Sharks 2-1 Friday evening at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The P-Bruins got their lone goal from Zach Hamill. The P-Bruins return home to the Dunkin' Donuts Center Friday, December 11 at 7:05 p.m. for Winter Hat Night against the Lowell Devils.

The P-Bruins took a 1-0 lead at the 7:16 mark of the opening period. Jamie Arniel held the puck halfway up the boards and sent it to Andy Wozniewski at the point. He took a shot and the rebound landed on the stick of Hamill, who tallied his second goal of the season. The Sharks tied the game at the 15:39 mark. Dan DaSilva netted his fourth goal of the season, while John McCarthy recorded the lone assist. The game went into the first intermission tied at one.

After a scoreless second period, Worcester took its first lead of the game at the 8:16 mark of the third period. Kevin Henderson scored his first goal of the season, with Dean Strong getting the lone assist. The Sharks went on to the 2-1 victory.

Dany Sabourin stopped 37 of 39 shots for the P-Bruins, while Alex Stalock made 24 saves for the Sharks. The P-Bruins were 0-for-1 on the power play and 1-for-1 on the penalty kill.
