Columbus Assigns Left Wing Tom Sestito

Syracuse, NY (November 27, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned left wing Tom Sestito.

Sestito, 22, has appeared in 16 games with the Crunch this season, tallying five goals, three assists and 64 penalty minutes. His three power play goals lead the club. Sestito has also skated in one game with Columbus this year, recording five penalty minutes vs. Edmonton on November 16.

A native of Rome, NY, Sestito was selected by Columbus in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch return home to face Houston on Friday, November 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
