The Evansville Otters (24-19) are going for back to back wins against the Washington Wild Things today. With a win Evansville would win the series against Washington, their first series win in five chances.
Infielder Frank Martinez enters tonight's contest on an eight-game hitting streak.
The Evansville Otters have also signed RHP Trevor Walch and RHP Brandon Adkins today.
The Otters have lefty Ryan Zamorsky (4-2) on the mound. He leads the Frontier League with a 1.42 earned run average. He will be opposed by right-hander Shawn Sanford (5-3, 2.83 ERA).
First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 pm CDT and fans can tune in to the Evansville Otters pregame show on WUEV beginning at 4:45 pm CDT.
