SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Rallying from down three runs, the Schaumburg Boomers swept the River City Rascals with a 4-3 walk-off win on Sunday afternoon.

Steve McQuail collected his second game-winning hit of the series, coming to the plate following an intentional walk to Frank Pfister in the ninth inning. McQuail roped a single down the left field line to knock home Gerard Hall with the game-winning run. McQuail drove home all four runs in the contest, erasing a 3-0 deficit with a three-run two-out homer in the bottom of the seventh, his 11th of the year, currently tied for the league lead.

River City opened a 3-0 lead with single runs in the first, second, and third innings against starter Matt Kuna. Kuna threw six innings in a no-decision. Dexter Price, the third reliever of the day, earned the win with a perfect ninth. The Boomers notched 10 hits in the win, three from Hall and two off the bat of McQuail.

The Boomers (27-19) played from behind in all three games. Schaumburg, who owns six walk-off wins this year, finished the season series with River City by winning seven consecutive contests, posting an 8-1 mark against the Rascals. Schaumburg is off on Monday before opening a three-game road venture with the Rockford Aviators at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday. RHP Seth Webster, signed on Sunday, will make his pro debut for the Boomers opposite RHP Drew Rucinski (3-5, 2.54).
