Oilers Announce Time Change January 1 Face Off 3 p.m.

In an effort to let defenseman Sean Erickson watch his alma mater's football team in the Fiesta Bowl, the Tulsa Oilers have announced a change in the start time for Saturday January 1st from 7:35 p.m. to 3 p.m. Central time. The Oilers play the Texas Brahmas that day at the BOK Center.
Erickson played college hockey at the University of Connecticut. The Huskies play in the Fiesta Bowl the night of January 1 against Oklahoma. The switch to an afternoon game time will allow fans to see the Oilers play Texas, then be home in time to watch the Fiesta Bowl.
