Oil Kings Add Treycen Wuttunee for Remainder of 2022-23 Season

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings have recalled 2006-born forward Treycen Wuttunee for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, the team announced today.

Wuttunee, a Battleford, SK product, has appeared in 11 games already this season with the Oil Kings registering two assists, a -6 plus/minus rating and 12 penalty minutes.

The 5-foot-9, 147-pound winger just wrapped up his U18 season with the Battleford Stars U18 AAA Club where he had 44 points (20G, 24A) and 64 penalty minutes in 39 games to lead his team in scoring and finish 18th in the entire SMAAAHL.

Wuttunee was drafted by the Oil Kings in the 10th round, 221st overall, at the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

In addition, the Oil Kings have announced the following players will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season due to injury:

F Nathan Pilling (lower-body)

D Vojtech Port (upper-body)

F Luca Hauf (lower-body)
