Blades Muster Point in Overtime Loss to Raiders
February 24, 2023 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release

Saskatoon Blades' Aidan De La Gorgendiere versus Prince Albert Raiders' Keaton Sorensen
(Saskatoon Blades)
LEAVE IT IN THE PAST: The Saskatoon Blades coughed up a three-goal lead falling to the Prince Albert Raiders 6-5 in overtime at SaskTel Centre Friday. The Blades were up 5-2 with under ten-minutes left in the game, but the Raiders stormed back to win their fifth straight. The loss drops the Blades record to 37-13-4-1, and delays their possibility of clinching a playoff birth until tomorrow.
SHAKE AND JAKE: Edmonton Oilers prospect Jake Chiasson had two goals and one assist in the loss. The Abbotsford, BC. native is fitting in well since joining the Blades Jan. 10th, registering 18 points in 20 games. The former Brandon Wheat King was acquired at the WHL Trade Deadline.
NEXT GAME: Redemption is up for grabs tomorrow night at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert for a rematch.
Puck drop is 7:00pm CST.
