The Americans and Thunderbirds will meet tonight for the fourth time in their seven-game season series.
Tri-City narrowly fell in overtime in their recent matchup to the Thunderbirds on February 17th. They are 1-1-1-0 against Seattle so far this season.
Ethan Ernst leads the Ams in goals scored against Seattle with three over three games. Lukas Dragicevic has five points (one goal, four assists) so far against the Thunderbirds. Seattle is on an impressive eight game winning streak, which includes two games against Tri-City. The Ams will look to snap that streak tonight and earn their second straight win.
The Americans most recently played on Wednesday at the Toyota Center when they put themselves back in the win column with a dominate 6-2 victory over Everett. Tri-City finished the season 5-3-1-0 against the Silvertips. Adam Mechura and Jalen Luypen led the Ams each with a pair of goals and one assist. Jordan Gavin and Deagan McMillan netted Tri-City's other two goals. Wednesday was Tri-City's 20th victory of the season at the Toyota Center. They are now 20-5-2-1 at home.
