Tough Time Getting to Three Over: For the third time this season, the Sounds had an oppor-tunity to get to three games over .500 but came up empty with a loss. On April 19, Nashville was 8-6 but lost 7-1 at Iowa. On April 27, the Sounds were 11-9 but were blanked by New Orleans, 3-0.

Hovering Around the .500 Mark: For the majority of the 2018 season, the Sounds have been plus or minus two games of the .500 mark. Entering the 41st day of the season this morning, the Sounds have spent all but two days within two games of being .500. The only two days the team hasn't been that close to the mark was entering the April 10 game vs. Iowa at 1-4, and entering the April 14 game against Omaha at 3-6.

Frankie's Complete Game: Frankie Montas joined James Naile as the only pitchers on the Sounds to throw a complete game this year. They are the only set of teammates in the Pacific Coast League to have a complete game on their ledger. It was the fourth complete game of Mon-tas' career (June 9, 2015 at Tennessee - 7.0 IP, June 26, 2014 at Frederick - 7.0 IP, July 2, 2013 at Lexington - 6.0 IP).

Garcia's Power Surge: Outfielder Anthony Garcia hit his team-leading seventh home run of the season in yesterday's loss. Since May 3, Garcia is second in the Pacific Coast League with six homers. In the 12 games he has played in since May 3, he's hitting .349 (15-for-43) with 16 RBI, 13 runs, 10 extra-base hits and 5 walks.
