Monych, Angel Return To Sea Wolves From Admirals

BILOXI, MS - The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-assigned forward Zbynek Hrdel ("ZBEE-nehk huhr-DEHL") to the Norfolk Admirals from the Mississippi Sea Wolves. In addition, the Admirals have loaned forward Brett Angel to Mississippi and returned forward Lance Monych to the Sea Wolves.

This will be the second stint with Norfolk for Hrdel this season. The 6-1, 199-pound right wing skated in six games with the Admirals to start the 2007-08 season, scoring one goal with no penalty minutes. He was re-assigned to the Sea Wolves on October 22 and appeared in ten games with Mississippi, scoring two goals and adding two assists with six penalty minutes.

Angel, a 6-6, 240-pound forward, had appeared in 18 games with Norfolk going scoreless with 43 penalty minutes, and served a two-game suspension on the team's season-opening road trip to Florida. The Admirals signed Angel to an American Hockey League Standard Player's Contract on October 3.

Monych, a 6-2, 200-pound right wing, skated in six contests with the Admirals, going scoreless with two penalty minutes. He had been signed to a Professional Tryout Contract on November 28. Monych had ten goals and five assists in 17 games with Mississippi prior to joining Norfolk.
