Wheeling's Patrick Suspended Two Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it suspended Curtiss Patrick of the Wheeling Nailers for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #254 at Dayton on Dec. 7.

Patrick was assessed a match penalty for Deliberate Injury of an Opponent at 12:08 of the first period.

Patrick is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Patrick missed Wheeling's games at Reading (Dec. 8) and against Elmira (Dec. 9).
