WEEK IN REVIEW:

Wednesday, Dec. 5:

CONDORS 1 @ Alaska 4

After the Alaska Aces jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening frame, F Andrew Ianiero got Bakersfield on the board with his fifth goal of the year 50 ticks into the second. However, the Aces added another tally later in the second and an insurance goal in the third to pull away for the 4-1 victory. G Jamie Hodson stopped 32 of 36 shots in the loss.

Friday, Dec. 7:

CONDORS 4 @ Alaska 5

The Condors struck first with F Todd Griffith's fifth goal only 1:47 into the first, but the Aces responded, taking a 2-1 lead into the intermission. Alaska took a 3-1 lead early in the second before LW Brett Lutes scored the first goal of his hat trick to start to bring Bakersfield back late in the frame. The Aces led 4-2 after two, but Lutes scored two goals in the first three minutes of the third to tie the game. However, the comeback fell short, as Alaska LW Matt Robinson notched the game-winner 6:34 into the third.

Saturday, Dec. 8:

CONDORS 2 @ Alaska 7

D Kevin Truelson and F Justin Chwedoruk scored goals for the Bakersfield Condors, but it wasn't enough to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Aces in a 7-2 loss on Saturday night. Jamie Hodson started the game between the pipes and was replaced by Yutaka Fukufuji to start the second period. Four of Alaska's tallies came with the man advantage.
