CHIEFS DOUBLE UP ON CHECKERS
Charlotte, N.C. - The Checkers battled the Johnstown Chiefs for the first time this season on Friday night and dropped a 4-2 decision.

- Blake Bellefeuille leads the team in points with 16 (6g,10a)
- Charlotte doesn't play any team outside the South Division for the rest of the month
- Curtis Darling becomes the fifth Checkers netminder to spend time in the AHL this season
- The Checkers have played seven less games than the Columbia Inferno this season-The Inferno are seeded one spot above the Checkers ranked sixth and seventh place respectively
