Montreal Reassigns Loic Lacasse to Hamilton

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that goaltender Loic Lacasse has been reassigned from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Lacasse, 22, has played in five games for the Cyclones this season and has a record of 2-1-1 while posting a 4.10 GAA and a .874 save percentage. The native of Granby, Quebec was with the ‘Dogs from December 12th until December 26th but did not play in any games with the club. Last season, Montreal's 6th round, 181st selection in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft competed in 47 games with the Bloomington PrairieThunder of the IHL compiling a record of 19-18-5 with a 3.24 GAA and a .906 save percentage.

The Bulldogs battle their archrival the Toronto Marlies on Tuesday, December 30th at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum in their final game of 2008.
