Pirates vs. Norfolk Admirals Wednesday, December 31 at 5:30 pm
The Pirates and the Cumberland County Civic Center are proud to bring you the annual Kids' News Years game! New England's largest indoor fireworks display, presented by U.S. Cellular, will follow the 5:30 pm game.
Youth Main Deck and Quarter Deck tickets are $8 in advance. Purchase tickets by calling (207) 828-4665 x350.
The first 3,500 fans in attendance will receive 4" Glow Sticks, sponsored by U.S. Cellular.
Pirates vs. Norfolk Admirals Saturday, January 3 at 7:00 pm
It's a Labatt Blue Light Hockey Night in Portland! Enjoy pregame Labatt specials at The Stadium from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Other local establishments, including Dimitri's, Brian Boru and Matthews will also offer drink specials throughout the day.

Cast your vote for the Pirates Hall of Fame!
The Portland Pirates have announced that four players will be on the ballot for induction into the Portland Pirates Hall of Fame presented by Unum. Forward Mike Boback, forward Chris Jensen, forward Darren McAusland and former owner, the late Tom Ebright, are all eligible for induction in 2008. Fans may vote from Monday, December 22 to Monday, January 26 for the nominee they think should be inducted into the Hall of Fame, presented by Unum, by clicking here!
United Way Pantry Project
Hungry people in Greater Portland are getting a little help this holiday season from the Portland Pirates and the Cumberland County Civic Center. The Pirates and the Civic Center have joined the Pantry Project, a food gathering program organized by United Way of Greater Portland to benefit Preble Street and other food pantries in the area.
How you can help...
The United Way pantry will be set up in the lobby of the Civic Center for the whole month of December. The Pantry Project wish list includes food items such as canned goods, pasta and rice, baby food, condiments, coffee and tea, sugar and more. Glass jars are also accepted. Fans can drop off the food items at the pantry shelves anytime they visit the Civic Center for a Pirates game, concert or other event.

It's Goodwill Night with the Portland Pirates. Goodwill will have trucks parked outside the Civic Center where fans can drop off any gently used clothing or household items. For making a donation, fans will receive a free Main Deck ticket to a future game!
Forecaster Friday Family Night- take the family to the game for only $35 by bringing the coupon found in that week's edition of the Forecaster to the Civic Center Box office.
Pirates vs. Springfield Falcons Saturday, January 10 at 7:00 p.m.
