James Reimer Reassigned To Reading

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that goaltender James Reimer has been reassigned to their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native made his AHL debut on Saturday night against the Manitoba Moose and made 25 saves, plus four more during the shootout in the Marlies 3-2 victory.

The Marlies are back in action tomorrow night when they travel down the QEW to take on their division-rival, the Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - at Copps Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. Toronto hosts the Iowa Chops - AHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks - on Friday night (7:00 p.m.) and the Philadelphia Phantoms - AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers - on Saturday (4:00 p.m.) at Ricoh Coliseum. The first 5,000 fans attending Saturday's game will receive an Anton Stralman bobblehead. Friday and Saturday's home games will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
