Canucks Recall Alexandre Bolduc

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have recalled forward Alexandre Bolduc from the Moose.

Bolduc, 23, has already played in two games with Vancouver after being recalled on Nov. 25/08. The Montreal, PQ native has appeared in 24 games so far this season with the Moose. In that span, he has collected 13 points (4-9-13), including a shorthanded goal (Nov. 21/08 vs. San Antonio) and a game-winning goal (Nov. 14/08 vs. Toronto). Bolduc has played in 155 games with the Moose where he's scored 69 points (29-40-69) and 213 penalty minutes. He was named the winner of the team's Unsung Hero Award in 2007-08.

Bolduc was initially drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round, 127th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
