Moose Recall Gendur & Sign Tim Spencer to PTO

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have recalled forward Dan Gendur from the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL. They also announced they have signed forward Tim Spencer to a professional tryout contract.

Gendur, 21, has played in five games with the Moose in his rookie season and scored his first AHL goal on Dec. 13/08 vs. Grand Rapids. The Vancouver, BC native has also played in 26 games with the Salmon Kings where he has 24 points (5-19-24) and 42 penalty minutes. Gendur was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the seventh round, 206th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Spencer, 22, has played in 22 games with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL where he's scored four points (1-3-4) and collected 72 penalty minutes. In 85 career games in the ECHL with the Wranglers and Alaska Aces, the Carnduff, SK native has scored 19 points (6-13-19) and 202 penalty minutes.
