Jeff Deslauriers Assigned To Springfield

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that goaltender Jeff Deslauriers has been assigned to the Falcons by the Edmonton Oilers for a two-week conditioning assignment.

In six games with the Oilers this season, Deslauriers has posted a 3-2-0 record with a 2.73 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.

During the 2007-08 campaign, Deslauriers was named Springfield's Most Valuable Player posting a record of 26-23-5 with a 2.90 goals against average and .912 save percentage in 57 games with the Falcons.
