Monarchs Recall Roussin

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have recalled left wing Dany Roussin from the ECHL's Reading Royals, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced Saturday.

Roussin, 21, appeared in 17 games with the Monarchs this season before being assigned to the Royals on November 29. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Quebec City, Quebec, collected three points (1-2=3) and 22 penalty minutes in those 17 games with Manchester. Selected by the Kings in the second-round (50th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Roussin has 45 points (22-23=45) and 14 penalty minutes in 41 games with the Royals this season.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins visit the Verizon Wireless Arena for the first and only time this season on Saturday, March 11 to face-off with the Monarchs at 7:35 p.m.
