Jeff Glass returned to Charlotte

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators today returned goaltender Jeff Glass on loan to the Charlotte Checkers (ECHL). Glass was called up to Binghamton (AHL) on Feb. 28 to replace Billy Thompson, who was recalled to Ottawa to fill in for injured goalie Dominik Hasek.

Glass made only one appearance, last night in Manchester, and stopped 24 of 27 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss. The 20-year-old native of Calgary, Alberta saw his record drop to 1-4-0 in six appearances this season with Binghamton.

Binghamton returns to action tonight with a 7 p.m. game against the Wolf Pack in Hartford, Conn. Follow the action live with the voice of the Senators, Grady Whittenburg, beginning with Countdown to Face Off at 6:30 p.m. on 680 WINR-AM.
