Canucks Re-Assign Butenschon to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have re-assigned defenceman Sven Butenschon to the Moose.

Butenschon, 29, has appeared in seven games this season with the Canucks, collecting eight penalty minutes. So far this year with the Moose, the Winnipeg, MB native is tied for third in the AHL in goal-scoring amongst defencemen with 13 goals. He also has 14 assists for 27 points and 18 penalty minutes. He is tops on the Moose in plus/minus ratings at +11, and is tied for the most game-winning goals with four. He is second on the team in powerplay goals with nine.
