Crunch Acquire Left Wing Fedor Fedorov

Syracuse, NY (March 11, 2006) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have acquired, on loan, left wing Fedor Fedorov from the New York Rangers.

Fedorov, 24, has appeared in 38 games with Hartford this season tallying 2 goals, 15 assists and 80 penalty minutes. He appeared in three games with the New York Rangers this season without recording a point. In 154 career AHL games with Manitoba and Hartford, Fedorov has registered 37 goals, 45 assists and 82 penalty minutes. A native of Appatity, Russia, Fedorov was originally selected by Tampa Bay in the sixth round, 182nd overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
