Chicago Wolves News Release
The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned center DEREK MacKENZIE to the Chicago Wolves.
The Sudbury, Ontario, native did not dress for Atlanta's game Friday night after being recalled earlier in the day.
Chicago's 24-year-old captain has collected 10 goals and 22 points in 31 games with the Wolves this year. MacKENZIE missed 28 games at the start of the season due to injury.
