
Monarchs Head to 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, clinched a berth in the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs with their 4-2 win over the St. John's IceCaps on Sunday evening and will face-off against the Norfolk Admirals for the 2012 Calder Cup Eastern Conference Quarterfinals starting on Friday, April 20 at the Norfolk Scope, Monarchs President Darren Abbott announced today.
Tickets for the first round of the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs (up to three games) for the Monarchs will go on sale on Monday, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena Box Office and online at www.manchestermonarchs.com. This is the Monarchs 10th playoff appearance in their 11-year history.
The 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs feature the top eight teams in each of the AHL's two conferences and the conference quarterfinals are best-of-five game series.

Along with the box office, tickets for the first round are available at Ticketmaster by calling (800) 745-3000 or by visiting Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.com. Fans may also purchase playoff tickets at all Ticketmaster locations, including Macy's at the Mall of New Hampshire.
Individual playoff ticket prices for the first round of the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs will range from $16-$32. For group and birthday party pricing during the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs, contact the Monarchs Front Office at (603) 626-7825.
Fans can take part in the Pay As We Play package and receive their tickets at a discounted rate for all home games, through the playoffs (up to 15 total games) with no payment up front. The Monarchs will charge a fan's credit card on the day of each home game the Monarchs play this playoff season. Fans pay only when the Monarchs play!
The Monarchs will travel to the Norfolk Scope for game one of the 2012 Calder Cup Eastern Conference Quarterfinal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20.
