Wolves Battle San Antonio in Western Conference Quarterfinals

The Chicago Wolves launch their first 2012 Calder Cup playoff series on the road, the team's 15th postseason bid in 18 years, when they face the San Antonio Rampage in a best-of-five series beginning at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, and at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

Game 3 will be held at the Allstate Arena at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24. If necessary, the Wolves will host Game 4 at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, and Game 5 at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 27.

Despite Chicago holding the third seed in the Western Conference playoff bracket, they will start the opening round on the road because of the series being a 2-3 format. The higher seed in the series has the option of playing the first two or the last three games at home.

The Wolves dropped all four contests to the Rampage this season (0-3-0-1). but all four games were decided by one goal. Chicago has never faced San Antonio in the Calder Cup playoffs.
