Amerks Will Face Toronto Marlies in First Round of 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs

(Rochester, NY)... T he Rochester Americans announced today that tickets for home games of the Amerks' first round series of the 2012 AHL Calder Cup Playoffs versus the Toronto Marlies will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 16.

The first two games of the best-of-five series will take place in Toronto at Ricoh Coliseum. Game 1 is scheduled for Thursday, April 19 at 7 p.m., while Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 at 3 p.m.

The Amerks will host Game 3 and Game 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal Series. Game 3 will take place on Monday, April 23 at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. Game 4, if necessary, will be played on Wednesday, April 25 at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m.

Game 5 of the series, if necessary, will be back at Toronto's Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday, April 28 at 3 p.m.

Individual game tickets for home games of the Amerks' first round series will start at $12 per game for Upper End/Balcony seats. Upper Bowl tickets will be priced at $16 per game, and Lower Bowl tickets are available for $18 per game.

Playoff Strips for Rounds One and Two are still available to current Season Ticket Holders, which allow them to purchase their same seat location for the entirety of the playoffs. Season Ticket Holders can contact the Amerks Ticket Office to take advantage of Playoff Strips.
