BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today the winners of the 2011-12 player awards that were presented in a special pre-game ceremony yesterday evening as the B-Sens hosted the Norfolk Admirals at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
A total of six awards were issued. The awards and corresponding winners are listed below.
* Top Defensive Forward Pat Cannone
* Top Defenseman Eric Gryba
* Rookie of the Year Mark Borowiecki
* 7th Player Award Mike McKenna
* Man of the Year Mike McKenna
The coaches select the winners of the Top Defensive Forward, Top Defenseman and Rookie of the Year awards. The players vote for the winner of the 7th Player Award.
