(Manchester Monarchs)

HEAD-TO-HEAD - The Monarchs and Walleye meet for the fifth and final time during the regular season, after splitting the first four games between the East and North Division leaders. The teams have played each other evenly this season, matching each other goal-for-goal, with both teams netting 13 tallies each. Maxim Kitsyn leads the way for the Monarchs against Toledo with four points (3g, 1a) in the four games, while A.J. Jenks leads the Walleye with seven points (4g, 3a) against the Monarchs.

PLAYOFF PICTURE - The Monarchs magic number to clinch the East Division crown sits at four points. Adirondack plays host to the Norfolk Admirals tonight, so with a win and an Adirondack loss, the Monarchs could clinch the Division crown and a guaranteed top-3 seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs as early as tonight. The Monarchs find themselves six points behind the Walleye for the top spot in the Eastern Conference, and four points behind South Carolina.

GOALS WILL COME - Tonight's game will match two of the highest scoring teams in the Eastern Conference. Manchester is tied for the Conference lead with 209 goals scored, and Toledo is right on their heels, scoring 208 goals this season. The Monarchs come into Toledo with the most road goals in the Eastern Conference (112) and the Walleye have netted 106 home goals, second in the Conference.

IT'S AN ADVANATGE - The Walleye and Monarchs bring potent power play units into the Huntington Center tonight. Toledo ranks 3rd overall in the ECHL, converting on 19.6% of their chances, and Manchester comes in ranked 6th overall, scoring on 18.9% of man-advantages. The Walleye play just under their overall average, converting on 19.1% at home, while the Monarchs far out-produce their average, hitting on 21.7% of their road power plays, 2nd in the league.

LEAD OR GO HOME - Manchester and Toledo have been stingy when leading after the second period this season. The Monarchs have no lost in regulation all season when taking a lead into the third period, posting a 25-0-1-3 record this season, 14-0-0-0 on the road. Toledo is equally impressive, posting a 30-2-0-1 record when leading after two periods, 18-1-0-1 at home.

GOALIES - The Monarchs will have a tough time finding the net, as the Walleye can run out two of the top-7 goaltenders in the ECHL in Jeff Lerg and Jake Paterson. Lerg, a former Monarchs netminder, is fifth in the league with a 2.11 GAA, and his 0.928 save percentage is good for third in the ECHL. When Lerg gets a break there isn't much drop-off, as Paterson sits in a tie for seventh with a 2.19 GAA and an equally impressive 0.924 save percentage.
