Monarchs Assign James To Bakersfield

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have assigned left wing Connor James to the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors, Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced on Monday. James, 22, appeared in six games with the Monarchs. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound native of Calgary, Alberta, had no points and eight penalty minutes while with Manchester. The Monarchs recalled James from Bakersfield on December 8. In 17 games with the Condors this season, he has recorded 15 points (7-8=15) and seven penalty minutes.

The Monarchs return to action when they host the Portland Pirates at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Sunday, December 26 at 4:05 p.m. The Utah Grizzlies come to town on Tuesday, December 28 for a 7:05 p.m. match-up at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Monarchs then head to the Tsongas Arena to face the Lowell Lock Monsters on Wednesday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m.
