On Saturday, with seven players out of the lineup either due to injury or illness, the BEARS defeated the first place Manchester Monarchs 3-2 in overtime at GIANT Center. Marek Svatos and Mathieu Darche scored goals during regulation to bring HERSHEY back from two different one-goal deficits before Eric Perrin won the game in overtime on the power play. Budaj won his second consecutive game in as many days, making 26 saves. Carl Corazzini assisted on all three goals to be named the game's number two star.
