
Bulldogs Continue Western Road-Trip

The Hamilton Bulldogs will continue their four-game Western Canada road-trip this week with a pair of games in Edmonton versus the Road Runners at Rexall Place on Monday, December 20th and Wednesday, December 22nd, at 9:00 p.m., respectively.
This past week the Bulldogs earned a 4-3 victory against the Manitoba Moose at the new MTS Centre on Friday, and then lost 4-2 to the Moose on Saturday. Bulldogs forward Steve Ott earned goals in both of those contests.
The Bulldogs currently have a record of 11-12-4-1 and trail Edmonton by six points for the fourth and final playoff position in the North Division.
Wednesday's game in Edmonton will mark the Bulldogs final game before Christmas. The Bulldogs will return to action on Monday, December 27th, when they host the Edmonton Road Runners on Dave Andreychuk night at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

Bulldogs Team Notes: The Bulldogs own a record four wins, one loss and one overtime loss during the month of December ... during the first six games in December, Hamilton has surrendered just 12 goals ... the Bulldogs currently have an above .500 record when playing on the road (7-6-2-0) ... Hamilton has earned a record of 11-9-2-0 when playing inter-division opponents ... when scoring the first goal of the game, the Bulldogs have earned an impressive record of (9-2-1-1) ... Hamilton has tallied just 21.57 penalty minutes per game, which is the fifth lowest average in the AHL ... the Bulldogs had their season-high four game winning streak snapped in Manitoba on Saturday
Duncan Milroy - had a five-game point streak from December 3rd to 17th. During the streak, Milroy picked up two goals and five assists. Milroy is currently fourth in Bulldogs scoring with 13 points (4-9-13).
Steve Ott - has scored two goals in the Bulldogs past two games. Ott earned his first game-winning goal of the season in the Bulldogs 4-3 win over the Moose on Friday. Corey Locke - had a four-game point streak from December 4th to 17th. Locke is currently 11th in AHL rookie scoring with 15 points (8-7-15). Locke's eight goals on the season is tops on the Bulldogs
Gavin Morgan - has earned one assist in each of the past two games
Dave Andreychuk Night - December 27th
The Hamilton Bulldogs and St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation, in conjunction with The Hamilton Spectator, will honour Stanley Cup Champion and Hamilton native Dave Andreychuk, on Monday, December 27th when the Bulldogs host the Edmonton Road Runners. Game time at Copps Coliseum is 7:00 p.m.
Andreychuk, 41, captured his first Stanley Cup in 2004, as he captained the Tampa Bay Lightning to a four games-to-three victory over the Calgary Flames in the Stanley Cup Finals. The 6'3, 220-pound left-winger has played in 22 NHL seasons and a total of 1597 games, amassing 1320 points on 634 goals and 686 points. Andreychuk leads the NHL in All-time power-play goals with 270. Last season, Andreychuk was named to Hamilton's Heroes of Hockey All-Time Team.
The festivities with Dave Andreychuk will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a 'Meet and Greet' pre-game reception at Copps Coliseum in Dressing Room One. Appetizers and refreshments will be served at the reception. Dave Andreychuk, representatives from the Bulldogs, and St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation will address the audience at the reception. Proceeds from the pre-game reception will support St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the public for the reception. Fans can purchase tickets for $40, which includes a ticket to the reception and to the Bulldogs game, or $30 for those who have already purchased a Bulldogs game ticket. Pepsi Night - December 27th
Monday, December 27th will also be Pepsi Night at Copps Coliseum, where the first 2,500 fans will receive a Tomas Plekanec Collector Pepsi Bandana. As well three lucky Bulldogs fans will win Pepsi for a year.
