Minnesota Wild Recalls Forward J.T. Brown from Iowa

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward J.T. Brown from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Brown, 28 (7/2/90), has notched four points (1-3=4) and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 35 games with Minnesota this season and ranks fifth on the team with 68 hits. He was assigned to Iowa on Feb. 4 and recorded six points (3-3=6) and 22 shots on goal in six AHL games. The 5-foot-10, 166-pound native of Burnsville, Minn., was signed as a free agent by the Wild on July 1, 2018. Brown has recorded 68 points (21-47=68), 214 PIM and 460 hits in 344 career NHL contests with Tampa Bay, Anaheim and Minnesota. He wears sweater No. 23 with Minnesota.

Minnesota plays at the New York Rangers tonight at 6 p.m. on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM.
