Iowa Wild Reassigns Goaltender C.J. Motte to Allen

DES MOINES, IOWA - Iowa Wild General Manager Tom Kurvers announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club reassigned goaltender C.J. Motte to the Allen Americans of the ECHL.

Since being recalled on Feb. 4, Motte appeared in one game, stopping 11 of 13 shots against the Chicago Wolves in a 2-1 overtime loss on Feb. 17. This season, Motte is 1-0-3 with a 2.66 goals against average and a .894 save percentage. Motte has registered a 7-4-7 record, a 2.25 goals against average, a .921 save percentage and two shutouts in 17 career AHL games split between Iowa, Chicago and Bridgeport.

The 6-foot, 185-pound native of St. Clair, MI has also skated in 32 games for the Americans this season, registering a 13-13-4-2 record, a 3.17 goals against average, a .913 save percentage and three shutouts.
