Michaud returns to Bulldogs

The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today they have recalled goaltender Olivier Michaud from the Columbus Cottonmouths of the ECHL.

Michaud, a 20-year-old native of Beloiel, Quebec, has played in 15 games for the Bulldogs this season, earning a record of four wins, six losses and three ties. The 5'11, 172 pound netminder posted a 2.30 goals against average, a .913 save percentage and two shutouts in Hamilton. Michaud set a new Bulldogs' franchise record earlier this season for longest shutout streak by a goaltender, as he played 158:09 without allowing a goal. During the streak Michaud earned consecutive shutouts versus the Manitoba Moose (6-0, Jan. 10) and the Albany River Rats (5-0, Jan. 17). Michaud has also played in 22 games with Columbus, earning a 3.01 goals against average and a .896 save percentage.
