Playoff tickets go on sale tomorrow at 12 noon

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that individual tickets for the first three home games of the 2004 Calder Cup Playoffs (Games A-C) will go on sale tomorrow at 12 noon.

Tickets can be purchased at the Wachovia Arena Box Office, and at all Ticketmaster locations and telephone outlets. Payment accepted at the Arena Box Office includes cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. The Wachovia Arena Box Office does not accept telephone orders or personal checks. There is no service fee for tickets purchased at the Wachovia Arena Box Office. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling Ticketmaster at (570) 693-4100, (215) 336-2000 and (607) 722-7272 and on the internet at www.ticketmaster.com.

Single-game ticket prices for the Penguins' first three home games of the 2004 Calder Cup Playoffs are $33.00 (Yellow zone), $22.50 (Red zone), $19.50 (Gold zone) and $15.75 (Blue zone).

The Penguins would also like to let fans know that playoff ticket packages are still available. A playoff ticket package allows fans to keep the same seat for all home playoff games.

Please note that ticket packages are available only at the Penguins Team Store in the Arena Hub Plaza or by phone at 208-PENS (7367).

The Penguins (33-27-8-7, 81 points; Third-place, East Division) host the Albany River Rats (18-36-11-9, 56 points; Seventh-place, East Division) in the first game of a three-game homestand tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. at Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.

Tickets are still available for each of the four remaining regular season home games. Approximately 200 tickets are still available for tomorrow night's game versus the River Rats; scattered single seats are available Saturday's game vs. Philadelphia (7:05 p.m.); 230 tickets are available for Wednesday's game vs. Binghamton (7:05 p.m.); and 130 tickets are available for the April 11th game vs. Bridgeport (5:05 p.m.). The Penguins will hold their annual team awards ceremony prior to the game against the Sound Tigers.

The Penguins have sold out their last 136 home games (league-record) played in Wilkes-Barre.
