McLure Hotel Agreement Renewed
March 12, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
Wheeling Nailers News Release
Wheeling, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' Affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins, are excited to announce that they have reached an agreement with the Historic McLure City Center Hotel as the host hotel for the 2010-2011 season. The renewal of the agreement continues a long and successful relationship the Wheeling Nailers have had with the McLure City Center Hotel.
The McLure is formerly the Ramada Plaza City Center Hotel and is located at 1200 Market St. in downtown Wheeling. The hotel is within walking distance of WesBanco Arena and many more outstanding establishments.
Perfect for out-of-town Nailers fans, the Nailers will be offering special packages for everyone. The popular overnight packages for $99 including tickets to the Nailers game, a stay at the Historic McLure, and dinner in Wheeling have been a staple for non-local Nailers fans visiting the Wheeling area for several years.
The Nailers are at home this Sunday at 3:05 against Kalamazoo featuring a post-game skate after the game with the Nailers players.
Earlier on Sunday at 1pm is the annual Guns and Hoses benefit game. Members of the Wheeling Police and Fire Departments will play members of the Pittsburgh Police and Fire Departments to benefit charity. The Guns and Hoses Benefit game begins at 1:05.
Don't forget that this weekend is Daylight Savings Time. Set your clocks ahead one hour late Saturday night or early Sunday morning so you don't end up arriving late for our next game.
Call the Nailers at 304-234-GOAL or toll-free at 1-877-NAIL-TIX. Get your tickets online at the team's website at wheelingnailers.com.
