DID YOU KNOW?
Each of the Jackals' last four sudden-death overtime victories have come against the Johnstown Chiefs, dating back to last season. Three of the four games have been by a score of 5-4, including two last weekend. Sunday;s game was the second time this season that the Jackals have scored a goal in the final minute of the third period and a goal in overtime in Johnstown to defeat the Chiefs, with the first one happening on Oct. 24.
JACKALS ACQUIRE BEAUREGARD, MARTIN
The Jackals made two moves before Friday's trade deadline, receiving right winger Thomas Beauregard from Johnstown in exchange for Bear Trapp and garnering defenseman Derick Martin from Alaska for Jarrett Konkle.
Beauregard is tied for second in the ECHL with 34 goals and led the Cincinnati Cyclones in 2007-2008 with 31 goals, the same season Cincinnati won the Kelly Cup.
Martin is in his sixth professional season and has established himself as a solid, experienced defenseman in the ECHL.
ON THE BRINK OF HISTORY
Tyler Donati is two points shy of Randy Murphy's Jackals record of 93 points in a season, set in 2002-2003. Tyler's 91 points are the most by a Jackal in an ECHL season.
