Independence, Missouri - Oct. 16, 2014 - The Missouri Mavericks released their season-opening roster Thursday afternoon ahead of the 2014-15 ECHL season. The Mavs' active roster of eighteen (18) includes two (2) goaltenders, six (6) defensemen, and ten (10) forwards. Additionally, the Mavericks have two (2) forwards on their ECHL reserved list, and one (1) forward placed on 21-day injured reserve (IR).

The Missouri Mavericks 2014-15 season begins on the road against the Indy Fuel on Saturday, October 24th.

The Missouri Mavericks will host a team skills competition event on Friday, October 17th presented by IHOP, the official training camp sponsor of the Missouri Mavericks. Fans can enter through the South doors of Independence Events Center beginning at 5:30pm (6:30pm start). Admission is FREE to the public - with a donation to Community Services League (CSL).

In lieu of purchasing a ticket, the Missouri Mavericks ask that all fans in attendance donate non-perishable food items or new, unwrapped Christmas presents for local children. Cash donations for CSL will also be accepted at the doors upon entrance.
