Also, this afternoon the K-Wings announced their team captains for the 2014-15 season. Wearing the letters on this year will be Bourbeau, Ftorek and Kattelus.

"To be successful as a team you have to have players that care more about the guys next to them than themselves and these three players exemplify that trait." said Nick Bootland, director of hockey operations/head coach. "As a group we understand where we want to be at the end of the season and our captains are poised to lead us there."

A seven-year pro, Bourbeau will wear the "C" for the K-Wings. In his first season with the K-Wings, Bourbeau was captain for the Elmira Jackals for the past three seasons.

Kattelus, who is entering his fourth season as a professional, has spent a part of each of those seasons with the K-Wings and was an assistant captain last season.
