Mavericks Recall Anderson, Evans and Mejri from the Texas Legends

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have recalled guard Justin Anderson, forward Jeremy Evans and center Salah Mejri from the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

All three players started for the Legends in their 115-106 loss to the Santa Cruz Warriors last night at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco. Anderson tallied a team-high 34 points (13-24 FGs, 2-7 3FGs, 6-7 FTs) to go along with four rebounds and two steals in 40 minutes. Evans totaled 17 points (7-13 FGs, 2-4 3FGs, 1-1 FTs), seven rebounds and one steal in 36 minutes. Mejri managed two points and four boards in 16 minutes.

Anderson and Mejri have now each appeared in two games for the Legends this year. Anderson is averaging 30.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 39.5 minutes in two D-League games (two starts). Mejri is averaging 4.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 18.5 minutes in two D-League contests (both starts).

Anderson (6-6, 228) is averaging 2.3 points, 1.1 rebounds and 6.4 minutes in 16 games (one start) for Dallas this season. The rookie guard scored a career-high 11 points (4-4 FGs, 1-1 3FGs, 2-2 FTs) in 15 minutes at New Orleans on Nov. 10.

Evans (6-9, 200) is averaging 2.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 8.3 minutes in 17 games (one start) for Dallas this year. The forward recently registered 7 points, 7 rebounds and a block in 20 minutes at Washington on Dec. 6.

Mejri (7-2, 235) has seen action in five games for the Mavericks this year and is averaging 1.0 rebound in 3.9 minutes per game.

The Mavericks take on the Washington Wizards tonight at American Airlines Center.
