Jam Top Stampede in Idaho

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Stampede fell to the Bakersfield Jam, 103-92, on Friday night at CenturyLink Arena.

Idaho jumped out to a 23-10 lead to start the game. Bakersfield, who shot 18.0 percent in the first quarter, battled back to cut Idaho's lead to three points at the end of the first half. Bakersfield gained control of the game in the third quarter, grabbing their first lead of the night with 8:48 left in the quarter.

Five Stampede players scored in double figures. Brandon Fields led Idaho with 22 points and five rebounds. Utah Jazz assignee Tibor Pleiss registered his third double-double, grabbing 15 points and 11 rebounds. Minnesota Timberwolves assignee Tyus Jones (15 points) and Jeff Ayres (14 points) combined for 29 points. Phil Pressey scored 11 points, six assists and four rebounds off the bench.

Three players scored in double figures for Bakersfield. Xavier Munford registered a game-high 30 points and four rebounds. Terrico White recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Earl Clark added 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

The Stampede will face off against the Jam again tomorrow night at CenturyLink Arena at 8 p.m. MT.
